The desire to manipulate data and numbers in tackling life’s challenges, especially in healthcare have always resonated strongly with me. This informed my decision to acquire a BSc. degree in Statistics and subsequently, an MSc. degree in Applied Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics. My professional background over time has derived a deep sense of satisfaction in my chosen career pathway because it avails me the opportunity to learn from several projects while contributing my skills in informing accurate business decisions.
My motivation for applying for this internship is from my genuine commitment and desire to make a positive impact in healthcare through the application of pioneering analytical methods. I aim to work on projects that advances research in the health sector through utilising clinical data. This will drive improvements in healthcare delivery and efficiency.
During this internship, I aim to gain exposure in artificial intelligence through hands-on experience and mentorship from industry experts. Contributing my IT skills will drive meaningful projects that have the potential to positively transform the healthcare sector.
